Catherine is Head of Business Banking Market at AIB Bank. She is also Chairman & Non-Executive Director of AIB Corporate Finance and is President of Dublin Chamber 2020/21 and a Board and Council Member of Dublin Chamber. Catherine is also a member of the Advisory Board of DCU Centre for Family Business, a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers, a founding member of LIFT, a leadership not-for-profit organisation and a former Non-Exec Director of Aviva Health.
Catherine was awarded the ‘International Financial Leader of the Decade’ award at the Women’s Economic Forum in India in May 2018 and awarded a ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ by the WEF in 2020. In 2018, Catherine was awarded ‘Business Woman of the Year’ at the Irish National In-Business Recognition Awards in December 2018 and ‘Best Business Bank’ in 2019. In 2017 she was awarded ‘Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Ireland’ award from the WXN (Women’s Executive Network).
Catherine is a graduate of UCD Business School and has attended Cranfield in the UK and the European Management Centre in Brussels.
Catherine has spent her career in financial services across Corporate, Business, Treasury and Retail Banking, as well as leading teams in the development of Strategy, Products and large change programmes.
Catherine is a passionate supporter of business owners from entrepreneurs to mature businesses and is particularly supportive of women business owners having designed the AIB Women in Enterprise Programme supporting the coaching and mentoring needs of hundreds of Female owned growth businesses. Catherine was also involved in the establishment of AIB’s award winning i-Matter Resource Groups established to facilitate change and diverse thinking and inclusion across the organisation.

Dobrawa Brach, Arran Street East
Dobrawa Brach is General Manager of Arran Street East: a luxury, handmade homewares brand, based in Dublin. Prior to this role Dobrawa was senior project manager in MCO Projects Ltd, a project management company specialising in healthcare and environmental project management. In 2015 she worked as Gallery and Exhibitions Manager for Irish Design 2015, a year-long initiative aimed at promoting design. Originally from Poland, in Ireland since 2005. Since the start of pandemic Dobrawa has been juggling work, homeschooling, and her new passion – weaving.
