Breakthrough Cancer Research believes in turning ‘Always Wanted To’ lists into powerful fundraising opportunities. This year, the charity is inviting local businesses to take on one of its newest challenges – hiking or biking to help fund cutting-edge cancer research.
Always Wanted To… Climb Croagh Patrick?
Breakthrough Cancer Research is thrilled to introduce its first-ever Croagh Patrick climb on Saturday, May 17th, 2025. For those who have always wanted to conquer this iconic peak, this is the perfect opportunity – while also supporting Ireland’s leading cancer research charity. Whether participants come solo or rally a team, their involvement will go a long way in the mission to Make More Survivors of cancer through research.
Or Bike the Ring of Kerry Instead!
For those who prefer cycling, there is also a cycling event on Saturday, July 5th, 2025. Participants can join the famous Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle, covering 170km of some of the most breathtaking scenery in Ireland. This challenge can be taken on as part of Team Breakthrough Cancer Research, helping to Make More Survivors of cancer.
Breakthrough Cancer Research is dedicated to funding innovative and impactful research aimed at creating new, better, kinder, smarter treatments and diagnostics for people with cancer.
