Earlier this week Dublin Chamber’s Maria Deady attended the 33rd Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Network Meeting in Brussels.
The meeting brings together all the representatives of the different Intermediary Organisations of the project from all the participant countries. Programme updates were discussed with along with partners networking where profiles of both Host and New Entrepreneurs were shared in the hopes of establishing exchanges.
The Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme is a cross-border exchange programme which gives new or aspiring entrepreneurs the chance to learn from experienced entrepreneurs running small businesses in other Participating Countries.
The exchange of experience takes place during a stay with the experienced entrepreneur, which helps the new entrepreneur acquire the skills needed to run a small firm. The host benefits from fresh perspectives on his/her business and gets the opportunities to cooperate with foreign partners or learn about new markets.
2024 marks the 15th anniversary of the programme with over 12,400 business exchanges across 45 countries.
