Dublin Chamber continually advocates for a better Dublin, it is necessary from a business perspective and greatly enhances the social offerings of the city and region. Making Dublin more sustainable is critical to Dublin Chamber’s advocacy on this. In Dublin Chamber’s Business Outlook survey, when asked ‘what would make Dublin more sustainable?’ Dublin businesses responded!
- Increasing investment in public transport and active travel infrastructure was selected by over four-in-five (83%) Dublin Chambers.
- Better grants for households to retrofit homes was selected by over two-in-five businesses (43%) while increasing grants for commercial buildings was selected by almost one-in-three (31%).
- Engagement with circular economy initiatives and supporting tax investment in green R&D ranked lowest among members.
