Saba – Award-Winning Thai & Vietnamese Eatery & Cocktail Bar
Saba, meaning “Happy Meeting Place,” is an award-winning Thai and Vietnamese eatery & cocktail bar, founded in 2006 by Paul Cadden (Founder & Managing Director) and Taweesak Trakoolwattana (Executive Head Chef, Tao). The Saba mission is simple: to create joyful, memorable dining experiences through exceptional food, handcrafted cocktails, and warm hospitality in a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere.
Saba’s journey began in Dublin’s Clarendon Street, and since then, they have expanded to Baggot Street Upper (2016) and relocated our flagship restaurant to South William Street (2020), alongside opening a third location in Kildare Village.
- Today, the Saba Restaurant Group operates:
Three restaurants – two in Dublin City Centre and one in Kildare Village.
Three Saba To Go takeaways – in Rathmines, Windy Arbour, and Deansgrange.
Two food trucks – appearing at festivals and events nationwide.
Saba To Go – Restaurant-Quality Food at Home
Inspired by Saba’s success, Saba To Go was launched in 2007 to bring restaurant-quality Thai & Vietnamese cuisine into homes across South Dublin. Saba To Go takeaways maintain the highest standards of flavour and nutrition while embracing sustainable, biodegradable packaging to reduce our environmental impact.
At Saba, every meal is an opportunity to share happiness. Whether dining in, taking away, or enjoying our food at an event, we’re dedicated to making every experience delicious, joyful, and unforgettable.
