Meet the Buyer

Event Details

Dublin Chamber is hosting its first Meet the Buyer event, designed to connect businesses with key public sector organisations involved in major infrastructure and service delivery across Dublin.

As investment continues across transport, energy, housing and public services, there is a growing pipeline of contract opportunities. This event gives members a practical way to engage with buyers, understand how procurement works and position their business to compete.

Who you will meet

A focused group of public bodies with active and upcoming procurement activity:

  • Transport Infrastructure Ireland
  • ESB
  • Gas Networks Ireland
  • Dublin City Council
  • daa

These organisations are procuring across construction, engineering, energy, IT, facilities management and professional services.

What to expect

Buyer introductions: Short overviews from each organisation covering upcoming opportunities, priority areas and how to engage.

1 to 1 meetings: Pre-scheduled meetings with buyers, managed through the b2match platform. Each meeting is structured and time-bound to allow meaningful discussion.

Tender masterclasses: Practical session on how tenders are assessed, how to structure responses and where companies typically fall short.

Legal briefing: A clear overview of procurement rules, compliance requirements and contract risk.

How it works

The event will use b2match software to manage:

  • Registration and company profiles
  • Searching and selecting who you want to meet
  • Sending and accepting meeting requests
  • Personalised meeting schedules on the day

This event is suitable for businesses of all sizes that want to work with the public sector, including:
