The EU Pay Transparency Directive will introduce new obligations for employers across areas including recruitment, pay reporting, and employee rights to pay information. While the Government has indicated that employers will not be penalised for not having all elements in place by the June 2026 deadline, many businesses remain uncertain about the practical implications and how best to prepare.
Against this backdrop, Dublin Chamber would like to invite members to participate in a roundtable discussion focused on what the Directive could mean for businesses in practice, the challenges employers anticipate, and the support needed to assist firms in preparing for implementation.
The roundtable will take place online at 12 pm on Friday, 29th May. The session will last approximately 60 minutes and will centre on the contributions of participants. Each attendee will be asked to briefly speak on the following questions:
1. What aspects of the EU Pay Transparency Directive are likely to have the greatest impact on your business?
2. Are there any challenges or unintended consequences that you think the Directive could create for employers?
3. What should Government prioritise to ensure implementation is practical and proportionate for firms?
Please register your interest in participating by emailing eimear@dublinchamber.ie. Please note that attendance is limited to one representative per member company.
