Event Details
As an open island economy, Ireland’s ability to
compete globally depends heavily on robust air connectivity. Any restrictions
at Dublin Airport, the country’s primary gateway, could severely disrupt
business operations, market access and overall growth potential. In light of
this, Dublin Chamber is once again calling for the removal of the 32 million Passenger
Cap at Dublin Airport as a matter of urgency.
The roundtable discussion will be held online at 12pm
on Friday 11th October. The
session will last approximately 60 minutes, and we hope to have a robust
exchange of views and sharing of business experiences. Discussion will be
based on your individual input and broadly framed by the following questions:
1.
How essential is air
access to international markets to your business?
2.
Explain how air
connectivity supports your business in terms of investment relations, access to
markets, relations with suppliers, access to key staff etc.
3.
Discuss how a cap on
the number of flights available to your firm and a reduction in the number of
destinations that can be reached from Dublin would impact your firm?
Please register your interest in participating by
emailing robyn@dublinchamber.ie. Attendance will be limited, so the remaining
participant list will be filled on a first come first served basis.
