Billy Hann, CEO, Dublin Bus:
Billy Hann is Chief Executive Officer of Dublin Bus. Ireland’s largest public transport provider, where he leads a team of over 4,200 people in delivering a safe, reliable, high-quality bus service to over 480,000 customers daily across the Greater Dublin Area. Billy began his career in the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) in the mid 1990s providing engineering support for the Dublin Air Traffic Control Centre. He went on to serve the IAA in a range of management roles over 29 years, culminating as the Director of Air Traffic Management, Operations and Strategy.
In December 2022, Billy redirected his focus from the Irish skyline to the streets of Dublin when he joined Dublin Bus. Since taking that role, he has introduced a new corporate strategy, established a new Executive Team, and overseen one of the largest and most successful recruitment drives in the company’s history, hiring over 1,000 drivers. In 2024, Dublin Bus recorded a historical high of 159 million customers journeys across the year reflecting the success of its growth and transformation in response to the needs of the city.
Mary Considine, Chief Executive, Iarnród Éireann:
Mary Considine was appointed Chief Executive of Iarnród Éireann in October 2025. She leads the organisation in delivering its vision of making Ireland’s railway network the backbone of sustainable transport, with a focus on safety, customer experience, and the continued development of the rail network and Rosslare Europort in support of national transport, climate, housing, and planning objectives.
Prior to joining Iarnród Éireann, Mary was CEO of The Shannon Airport Group, following a distinguished 30-year career in aviation. She held a range of senior leadership roles, including Shannon Airport Director, Chief Financial Officer, and Deputy CEO, before becoming CEO in 2019.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, Mary has completed executive programmes at Cranfield School of Management and INSEAD. She is a Board Director of IBEC and a Trustee and Governing Authority member of Mary Immaculate College.
Eoin Gillard, Assistant Director-Transport Investment, National Transport Authority:
Eoin is a Chartered Engineer with responsibility for the leadership, management, oversight and delivery of major public transport and transport infrastructure projects and programmes within the NTA. Eoin has worked in the transport sector throughout his professional career in both the public and private sector delivering road, rail, bus and other traffic and transport projects.
Lorcan O’Connor, CEO, Transport Infrastructure Ireland:
Lorcan O’Connor joined Transport Infrastructure Ireland as its CEO in 2025. Lorcan has extensive experience in the transport and public sector arena have held prior roles of Group CEO in CIE, Ireland’s largest public transport operator, and as the first CEO of the Insolvency Service of Ireland.? Prior to establishing the Insolvency Service, Lorcan spent 15 years in Deloitte leading large scale corporate insolvencies and turnarounds.
He is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Director. Lorcan is also a Board member of the Insolvency Service in the UK and Chairs its Audit and Risk Assurance Committee.
