Minister Burke Launches New National Enterprise Hub

Back to Articles

24 July 2024

In July, Ministers Peter Burke TD and Emer Higgins TD from the Department of Enterprise launched the National Enterprise Hub, a new all-of-government service staffed by experts and trained advisors, focused on helping businesses access a range of government supports. Bringing together information and resources on over 180 government supports from 19 different departments and state agencies in one central location, the hub will enable entrepreneurs to access and avail of grants, funding, loans and expert advice across a range of sectors with ease.

This service will save businesses time and valuable resources in identifying the grants and measures that are relevant to them. Furthermore, as a key element of the SME package agreed by government in May, the National Enterprise Hub aims to engage small businesses that have yet to avail of government support.

The initiative is funded by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment and is operated by Enterprise Ireland. The Hub also involves the Departments of Finance, Social Protection, Agriculture, Food and the Marine as well as Local Enterprise Offices and IDA Ireland, amongst others.

The new online hub can be accessed through the website here.
