18 September 2024

This month, the Dublin Economics Workshop (DEW) Annual Economic Policy Conference, sponsored by Dublin Chamber, took place in the Clayton Whites Hotel in Wexford. As Ireland’s longest standing and premier forum for economic policy debate, the DEW Conference brings together policymakers, academics and practitioners to engage in evidence-based policy debate and discussion.

Taking place over two days, the work facilitated insightful debate on a wide range of critical issues from the future of FDI to increasing the housing supply, hitting climate targets and addressing performance and capacity challenges in the Irish healthcare system. Speakers included Robert Watt, Secretary General, Department of Health, Joan McNaboe, Skills and Labour Market Research Unit, Solas, Susan Roche, PWC, Mayor John Moran, Mayor of the City and County of Limerick, amongst many others.

The DEW plays a key role in fostering meaningful dialogue on Ireland’s economic future and Dublin Chamber is a proud sponsor.
