Dublin Chamber meets with President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, H.E. Tô Lâm.
On the 3rd of October, International Department Manager in Dublin Chamber, Maria Deady had the honour of representing Dublin Chamber in a meeting the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, H.E. Tô Lâm and other Ministers and Government Representatives from Vietnam.
The state visit by President Tô Lâm is the first state visit to Ireland by a Vietnamese President.
Mr President and the Ministers held high level discussions with Irish representative companies and Dublin Chamber members who have business interests in Vietnam or are looking to expand their businesses into Vietnam.
The meeting outcomes are all positive with additional supports to be provided to Irish companies in Vietnam. Ireland represents the sixth largest trading partner and the second largest import market of Vietnam in the EU.
The visit marks increased diplomatic relations between Ireland and Vietnam with the establishment of a Vietnamese Embassy in Ireland in the future.
