​IT’S BACK - Ireland’s most exciting and unique team building fundraiser, Clash of the Companies supporting sick children, will take to the streets of Dublin once again on Friday 7th July in the RDS.   As ever, there is an important side to all of our fundraisers and that is to support the sick children of Ireland who attend Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) at Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and Connolly. Since 2015, this event has raised over €1.2m and it has helped to fund the Neurology and Renal Outpatients’ Unit, the upgrading of the general Outpatients’ Department along with providing new, vital, life-saving equipment which continues to change the lives of sick children attending Children’s Health Ireland hospitals every day.  

This year, we have had a special request for funding from the National Paediatric Liver service in CHI to purchase a vital machine and we want to go the extra mile to support them. This machine is a non-invasive method of detecting and staging both liver fibrosis and fat content of the liver. It will essentially replace a liver biopsy with a quick (less than five minutes), painless and safer procedure. It will be a vital tool in decreasing unnecessary invasive investigations and treatments, reducing clinical risk, improving timeliness of diagnosis and management and avoidance of inpatient stays – something that every child and parent wants. So, your support is especially important this time around.    Entry fee for this wonderful day, based on a team of eight people, is just €1,400. This is broken down into a registration fee of €850 and €550 fundraising. Companies can pay the total fee or just the registration amount with the team members encouraged to raise a minimum of €550 and hopefully much more, to boost the donations for our sick children. Your teams will join hundreds of participants, on the streets of Dublin starting at the RDS in a fun but competitive afternoon.  

We also have limited sponsorship packages which gives a number of teams free entry and allows your company to place your branding front and centre in the lead up to the event and on the day including on signage, banners, t-shirts, goody bags and so much more.
