Following a review of the National Cyber Security Strategy, eighteen new strategic actions are to be implemented, aimed at building NCSC capacity, and addressing cybersecurity skills gaps. The government intends to facilitate the development of a centralised repository of educational and apprenticeship courses in cybersecurity across all levels, implement financial support for SMEs to improve cybersecurity resilience and facilitate innovation, and encourage information sharing among critical national infrastructure.
All eighteen new strategic actions are available to read within the full review of the National Cyber Security Strategy, which is available to view here.
Dublin Chamber recently held a roundtable discussion on cybersecurity concerns facing Dublin firms, a summary of which will be available in our Q2 Business Outlook Survey, to be published next week. Stay tuned.
