The 2023 European Angel Investment Summit, held from October 10th to 11th, proved to be the highlight of Europe's vibrant startup ecosystem. This two-day event brought together more than 350 business angels, innovators, entrepreneurs, and policymakers, providing a platform to delve into critical topics such as investment prospects in the realms of green and digital transition, space, and Africa.

The summit was instrumental in fostering collaboration, with over 35 startups seizing the opportunity to pitch their ideas to potential investors. Additionally, it facilitated more than 100 one-on-one meetings, creating a space for valuable interactions between companies, investors, and policymakers. Notably, ten of these startups received guidance and support from the Enterprise Europe Network.

The European Commission took the opportunity to shed light on how startups and investors can harness the benefits of EU support, thanks to programs like InvestEU and the Patent Package. Their presentation introduced the Access2Finance website, a valuable resource for companies seeking loans and equity finance supported by InvestEU and other EU initiatives.
