BUMBLEance plays a crucial role in providing safe and comfortable transportation for Ireland's youngest patients as they travel between their homes and various medical facilities nationwide. Their mission is to alleviate the stress and discomfort that comes with transporting a sick child, ensuring that their well-being is their utmost priority. Without BUMBLEance children would have to take the long trip to traumatic treatment on public transport or in the back of the family car, ill or in pain. Without them, there is no alternative. It's important to note that BUMBLEance relies solely on fundraising activities to fund its vital service and receives no government assistance.
Anna Earley, Corporate Partership's Manager at BUMBLEance says, ‘This is an exciting event, as our inaugural gala lunch we have chosen to focus on our valuable service, getting children to their homes for Christmas. BUMBLEance is on a mission to support as many children as possible to get out of the hospital settings for Christmas to take a break from their treatment where possible and providing a lift while they spend time with their families during the important time of the year.’
