The Gaza Strip is the most dangerous place in the world to be a child. 

The children of Gaza have faced unprecedented suffering. Sunday, 7th of April marked 6 months since the escalation of violence in the Gaza Strip. A 6-month milestone is tragic, yet it comes with news of two additional humanitarian corridors due to open temporarily in northern Gaza. UNICEF is on the ground with supply trucks loaded and ready to deliver life-saving aid as soon as possible.

UNICEF continues to focus on the critical needs of children for protection and humanitarian assistance – but access remains difficult and dangerous. UNICEF staff, along with United Nations and civil society partners, remain in Gaza but must be allowed to provide life-saving aid at scale, especially where access is most constrained.
