The Higher Education Authority (HEA) recently launched the Micro-Credentials Learner Fee Subsidy under the Human Capital Initiative Pillar 3. This initiative will subsidise over 14,000 places in more than 650 courses. Funded by the HEA and Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, this subsidy aims to address critical skills gaps by reducing barriers for individuals to upskill.
