Election Statement
Small Businesses - The superpower for Dublin’s recovery
Dublin as a business and civic landscape is undergoing a dramatic shift, but a demise is especially true for small businesses across the city. With the successfully established ‘Quarters' across the city such as ‘Cultural’, ‘Tech’, ‘Creative’ etc., Small businesses are the dots that connect these various quarters, by enticing greater in-between footfall, being a passive vigilance, injecting vitality and community with their presence.
I stand for:
- Advocating for small businesses struggling because of the rising costs of doing business.
- Calling out our need to protect these independents and their customers by addressing street safety and cleanliness to recover declining trade and livability.
- Incentivise the return of artists and cultural exhibits to our streetscapes.
